Refund policy

Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again.
Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started, since AI generation costs are incurred immediately. You keep access to all remaining credits until your period ends.
Yearly plans
For yearly plans, you may request a pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase if you have used fewer than 20% of your annual credit allotment. After 14 days or 20% usage, yearly plans are non-refundable, but you retain access for the remainder of the year.
Failed generations
If a generation fails due to a system error on our side, the credits will be automatically refunded to your balance. Outputs you disagree with creatively (e.g. "I don't like how the character looks") do not qualify for refunds — please refine your prompt and try again.
Duplicate or accidental charges
If you were charged twice or made an accidental purchase, contact billing@charactr.app within 30 days for a full refund.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under local consumer protection laws (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services before usage begins).
